The construction i found easy as i had noted down from Jane the order of assembley, i did it as neat and precise as i could especially with the curved seams. It helped that my housemate was happy to model for me when it came to the Toile review. This i think was the most helpful as we had both technical and design tutors and to stand back and look at your work for the first time. The alterations i listed, to interface hood- i thought maybe with a caramel browny colour, shorten the front, take in the sides to make it more fitted,to take the shoulder darts out of the back and to give some ease in the sleeves- maybe to do something different to the cuffs.

This is the working drawing i have been copying from, when creating my pattern. The pattern itself is really quite complicated and when i think i have only made the shorts ect in constructioin this was quite a challange and with 3 tables to draw and cut out the pattern it was hard to get studio time as there is loads of us. So i used a wallpaper table and tried to do most in the sunshine.
This was my first design that i'd actually come up with in an ict lesson as my mind was on the brief we'd just been given and i was quite exicted about it so i doodled some ideas in my notebook then copied them out into my sketchbook.I was really exicted by this idea as my detail in how it would look, was clear in my sketches , this is why i think Az chose this design too.
I chose the idea of a jacket from a previous project and adapted it to the horse show riding jackets i was researching for my current project, here's some more examples of the thirty outfits we had to design.
For our first major project our brief was Fashion V's Sport here are some of my initial drawings. I decided to go with Horse Riding as my sport but to create a more feminine fashion, creating a more couture high end outfit rather than a high street, something you could wear every day.
